Chris Doughty runs an antique shop in the Rutland village of Barrowick on the South shore of the Rutland Water reservoir. When the local vicarage is sold and a Psychic College opens there, he hopes it will attract more business to the sleepy little village.
Francis O'Conlan, the new owner of the vicarage, is into witchcraft and necromancy. There is a suspicious drowning in the reservoir, then Sara, the barmaid at the dealers local pub, becomes involved with the witchcraft coven.
An ancient Shelagh-a-Noon is stolen from the churchyard and is used to celebrate a Black Mass, with fatal results.
