Cats are known to be very independent animals. They are considered very private creatures. They do not crave for continuous attention from their owners. They can be left on their own for long periods of time and still remain happy. They make ideal companions for those who have a very busy lifestyle and for those who do not wish for the regular upkeep of a high-maintenance pet.

No matter how it likes to be alone most times though, the cat is truly a very sensitive pet. It can sense its owner’s feelings and moods. It can easily read its owner’s personality and adapt itself to its owner’s lifestyle. Cats can be unfaithful pets in the sense that if it doesn’t like its owner, it can leave the owner’s home and find a new home on its own if it is no longer happy in its present environment. But, if your cat likes its owner and is satisfied with the care it gets, they can be very loyal, very affectionate and very devoted life-long companions.

Some cat owners say that as long as a cat is house-trained well and is fed its food at the proper time and does not go hungry, it generally will keep to its own and mind its own business in its own space or area in the house. However, this does not mean that although a cat is low-care that it does not require any care at all. It will still depend on you for food, for grooming, for exercise, for when it is sick and needs vet care and, of course, from time to time, for that requisite TLC which every creature needs.

Caring for a cat can still take a bit of work. As a pet cat owner, you will need to fully understand your cat’s needs so you can give it the best possible care. This book will help you do just that.
