Known as “The Cuban Missile Crisis” or “The Missiles of October,” President John F. Kennedy was faced with difficult situations and decisions. President Kennedy and his staff knew there was a relationship between the Communist United Soviet Socialist Republic (U.S.S.R.) and the Communist dictator, Fidel Castro, who took over Cuba with a military coup in 1959. While there were concerns about this relationship, the first indication of a serious threat to the United States began to come through intelligence channels in September 1960, more than two years before events of 1962.

This book is a compilation of formerly classified documents from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Photographic Interpretation Center (NPIC), the National Security Agency (NSA), as well as the actual letters between President John F. Kennedy and the leader of the Soviet Union, Nikita Krushchev.

With over 600 pages, this story is told in two eBooks: "Indications" & "Missiles of October."
