The Challenge of the Dragons The Challenge of the Dragon is the sequel to my first book “A Dragon’s Tail that was self-published November 1, 2005. In A Dragon’s Tail, the Siamese twin dragons return home to the land of the Dragons and Maxaluna changes into a good dragon who wants to persuade all generation of dragons to change to goodness. In the sequel, The Challenge of the Dragons, Maxaluna is left two dragon eggs and a note from the wizard Randanzo that he has been chosen to be the caretaker of these unborn baby chick dragons who will be named Bo and Ben. He will need to instruct them in Dragonology and teach them all they need to know for adventure and challenge. The challenge will be to overtake the Land of the Lords where the Dragon Lords rule the evil generation of dragons and Maxaluna will lead in this crusade. Maxaluna and Bo and Ben leave on this mission and our joined by others on this journey. They enter into The Land of the Lords with the help of the wizard and a good witch. Bo and Ben use their identity of twins to trick the Dragon Lords in their plan to change the Land of the Lords and inhabitants. The beautiful Tiffany Butterfly is helpful in the mission with the power of her magical nectar. Maxaluna and the group are successful and the evil dragons are transformed into good dragons. The Dragon Lords and Bo and Ben will live together in the Land of the Lords and continue the mission of doing good. Maxaluna and the group return home to Maxaluna’s mountain where they will continue to live in peace and happiness. The theme of The Challenge of the Dragons is good conquers over evil with a code of arms that reflect good values and principles emphasizing the Golden Rule of Dragonology. There is an emphasis on pursuing goals and the importance of self-esteem by knowing oneself.
