After the parent company from Houston closes the plant in 1987, Norma’s friends move away. As agreed, Norma continues to buy joint lottery tickets for them. In 1994, they win twenty-four million dollars. They use their winnings to buy back the project books and drawings of Cascade Products, start an engineering firm, and revive the business of designing deck machinery for offshore drilling rigs..
