Volunteering to bake a pie or two for the mayor's week long Fourth of July Festival at the park seemed like a good idea, especially since it would give Grace a chance to reconnect with a childhood friend from summer camp, but when the strange woman who had been following them around the park and taking their picture is murdered, things suddenly take a dangerous turn and before long, Grace and Kyle are investigating not one murder but two.

If that weren't bad enough, Kyle's new client has disappeared into thin air, Grace's friend, Jolene, is suddenly acting very suspicious, and someone is sending Grace strange text messages, threatening to tell Kyle all her deep, dark secrets. 

As the clues begin piling up, it becomes clear that Grace is being set up to take the fall for the murders and that if she's not careful she may end up in jail or worse...dead.
