The Branding Iron and Other Westerns by Katharine Newlin Burt

THE BRANDING IRON AND OTHER WESTERNS includes three western romance novels by Katharine Newlin Burt.  Burt (1882-1977) was a noted western writer and married to fellow writer Maxwell Struthers Burt.  Together the couple homesteaded the Bar BC Ranch near Moose, Wyoming, whose environs served as a backdrop for many of her works.  Their son was the writer Nathaniel Burt.
