Overview:
Life can seem daunting when you wake up to find that your people have left you. But for Howie Momo, a.k.a. "The Biker Chihuahua," it's the beginning of one big rowdy road trip. Packing only his innate cool and growing sense of "predognition," Howie takes the Southwest by storm, finding friendship, adventure, romance and Slim Jims along the way. Narrated by the author, The Biker Chihuahua is the ribald saga of a pragmatic idealist on a dogged quest to find his forever home.
Meet the Author:
Howie Momo lives in Southern California, where he is pestered incessantly by his newly-adopted sister, Lola. Mr. Momo urges his readers to give generously to (and volunteer at) their local rescue shelters, and to adopt responsibly and lovingly when so moved.
Mr. Momo was born into a human family of bikers, who one day left for a roadrace without him. After finding temporary refuge and fleeting fame with a traveling circus, he criss-crossed the country on a path that can only be described as eclectic. He is food-motivated and uncannily adept at enticing people to pet him, using only his melting gaze. Momo benignly rules the local dog park with his blanket of intuition and wise counsel. Nickname: Mos' Meetz.
