It shows how a "self-managed liquidation" very well may be a better option than a bankruptcy, and why. It also is the story of how the author went through his own self-managed liquidation, every step he took going through that process, how he overcame the obstacles and struggles that came at him from every direction, and describes the keys he found and used that helped him handle each aspect of his successful business. It is the story of one who stepped into the darkness, and pulled the light in after him.
