After growing extremely tired of living the life of an office dweller, I finally decided to take the leap into freedom.
I am 30 years old, and my life is spent focusing on doing ONLY the things I enjoy doing. I play lead guitar for a band. I train Jiu-jitsu several days a week. I run a few websites, and I write eBooks. The best part of it all is that I do everything on my own terms, whenever I want, without having a boss telling me what I can and can't do.
I have always had a dream to become self-employed, and I am now living that dream. It is really much simpler then you would believe. The hardest part is simply changing your mindset from "I could never do that" to "I could probably do that". Really that's it!
In this book, I explain just how possible it is for anyone else to do the exact same thing that I did. I challenge many of the commonly accepted "societal beliefs" such as retirement plans, benefits, risks of quitting your steady job in our current economy, and several other concerns that you may have regarding making a life-altering decision such as quitting your uninspiring day job.
Anyone really can do what I did. Anyone can live their "dream life" where they do nothing but pursue that which they are passionate about. It's really not that hard. It just takes a bit of planning.
In this book you will find:
- My story
- Other peoples' "anti rat-race" success stories
- How to turn your passions into your business
- Interesting ways of generating income
- What it really means to be "Self-employed"
- Cost-cutting tips in order to make your dream life that much more feasible
- Challenges against typical sociological constructs such as benefits, retirement, and job security
- Risk assesments
...and lot's more "non 9 to 5" ways of thinking.
The ultimate goal of this book is to help you to achieve your dream lifestyle if you choose to do so. It really is not that hard!
