Mountain-Rosie is well known. She biked in the European Alps, Tasmania and the mainland of Australia, south of the Black Sea from Germany to China (the high-light of her life) and now north of the Black Sea from the top of the Brocken to the Tiananmen Square in Beijing. There were small and large diffculties every day: many bike-repairs in Poland, an accident in the Ukraine, street-potholes in Russia, mushroom poisoning in Kazakhstan, bee sting in China, etc. In addition to a very good condition for 14000 km in 135 days incl. rest days you need nerves like steel. Coming through from Germany to China was only possible because many people helped her in different ways. This trip was an exploration of physical, mental and spiritual powers in some social environments. The views of economic, environment and socialpolitics in each country have many faces. The Art of Overland-Biking shows a new creativity of mind. In China the young people said: “Rosie, you are my hero!”
