Owen had to laugh at how some of the people here outright resented him, but Damien was clear about his orders. The first thing he did was limit access to their operation, and then implemented stronger screening practices before accepting clients.

Suddenly, the intercom on his desk buzzed.

"Yes," he replied.

"Sir, Deana is here," Jessica stated.

Owen smiled upon hearing Jessica’s voice. She was the sexy daughter of a former rival. He had her plucked right out of Stanford University.

“Send her in and get someone to cover for you. I want you inside my private bedroom."
