Gannon Skyborn, Gileadan Rogue Hunter, Adventurer, One who set foot on the Isle of Morbius and lived to tell the tale… Apprentice. These four short stories chronicle the early career of Gannon Skyborn and his less than tender mentor, Jared, among the Isles and ports of the Southern Seas of Alum.

Gannon’s first adventure wanders the cursed Isle of Morbuis, the aptly named “Isle of Death”. In search of a mast for his ruined ship he encounters the infamous carnivorous trees and works to save the lives of the ambushed crew.
Volume Two finds our intrepid duo on Cycross, and a day behind another less amicable Rogue Hunter. Cleaning up the mess left behind by the bone knight before them they struggle to piece together what the previously punished crime even was and try not kill each other in the process. In the middle of it all is a young lady who just wants something to eat.

The Gileadan ambassador to Rie sends them on another quest to meet the oldest, and likely most stubborn living creature in all Choaradar, Klite the Cho-Frinnir. The old dragon throwing pebbles would be more than enough to keep Gannon busy, except a certain other distraction makes it difficult to focus on the task at hand.

Finally, we meet the infamous adventurer, Trophis, and his band of misfits and outcasts. The irascible scientist and adventurer is only too eager to put the lives of his followers and the crew of the Adel in danger through his reckless pursuit of things better left unknown. Gannon’s adventure through the shallow water of the shifting Sea Sands brings out the hero within.
These four tales are a prequel to the Shadowed of Gilead Series introducing several characters as they once were and filling out the fantastic world of Choaradar just a little bit more.
