Set in the east of Africa, In the Serengeti National Park, lies a small town, Seronera. This place is home to the Serengeti Wildlife research centre, and the Wardens and local natives have set aside cultural differences, as life in Africa eventually unites its inhabitants. The story of the Abantu Jewel, known only by a few, is told to a group of young school-going teenagers, Dale, Themba and Jane, and as with all curious teenagers, they decide to investigate the story further. All previous owners of the Abantu Jewel faced extreme danger and even murder, and so the teenagers lives are changed dramatically when they are suddenly forced to fight for their own lives, and their friendships and love are put to the test. What was a quiet, peaceful town, is now thrown into chaos as Seroneras residents now have to fight against other native soldiers and warlords to help save their children. A riveting tale ofadventure, excitement and romance and a MUST read for all ages.
