Terfarim the Frumious: a short story

A magical realism tale touching upon corporate greed, colonialism, environmentalism and personal responsibility. Harry Solomon, a corporate shark, jumps at the opportunity to turn a South Pacific island into an international playground resort. Cutting corners to bring Solarium to fruition, he undermines the island government, disrupts the local economy, spoils the pristine coastline, and arrives at an agreement with a nuclear facility to house its waste for investment money. But when a nearby volcano blows its stack, Harry is forced to reconcile his misdeeds.
