In this 7-day devotional, Kerstin guides us gently through Paul's description of godly love found in 1 Corinthians 13.

We discover that love is very practical and impacts the choices we make and the words we speak each day. With openness and realism, Kerstin acknowledges the everyday battles we face as we have the option to react to situations around us - or to choose love.

At the end of each daily message there is a prayer which expands on the heartfelt cry, "Lord, teach me how to love..."

"Both practical and profound, this is the teaching of 1 Corinthians 13 firmly grounded in reality. Full of wisdom, truth and challenge it will deepen your understanding of God and move you to love in the way he loves us."

James Fletcher
St Cuthbert’s House of Prayer, York

"Kerstin is a deep thinker and a clear communicator who listens to God. This wise, simple and practical devotional on love from 1 Corinthians 13 will help any disciple who wants to love better. Read. Pray. Apply."

Matthew Porter
Vicar, The Belfrey, York

"That Kerstin has written a seven-day devotional based on three verses demonstrates the depth of her scriptural wisdom. This is an emotionally and relationally intelligent insight into a well-known passage of scripture, and will help you to go deeper in living out the love that we receive from our loving Father."

Rev. Mary Jobling
Assistant Curate, Holy Nativity Eastfield, Scarborough

"If you want to live a comfortable life, happy with your level of love towards others, don't read this book! However, if you're up for a challenge, to be stirred into stepping out beyond where you thought you could go, then read on and be changed! This was my experience after reading these devotionals."

Ruth Somerville
Women of Worth Leadership Team

"Within these devotionals you will find a treasure trove of wisdom, presented in an immensely practical and easily accessible way. The examples given enabled me to reflect upon my own condition, in order that the fruit of love would be more evident in my life."

Rev. Liz Ransford
Never Give Up, York

"This seven-day devotional is full of theological wisdom, psychological insight and life-changing application. Written with the precision of a teacher and intuition of a prophet, Kerstin Wandel's 'Teach me how to love...' has the potential to both feed the spirit and heal the soul."

Rev. Greg Downes
Theologian and Missioner, The Belfrey, York
