When Summer moves to a remote new town and goes on a spontaneous hike through the surrounding forests, the last thing she expects is to be kidnapped by a tribe for trespassing on their land. She certainly doesn't expect to find herself attracted to one of the sexy barbarians who escapes with her into the dark night in order to save her from the wrath of the elders. What happens when the barbarian and Summer have to spend a night together in a small tent while a storm rages on outside? Can Summer control her uncontrollable lust for the barbarian?
Excerpt:
“We won’t be able to travel any further tonight, so let’s get some rest while we can,” Elan said. Then suddenly his arm reached around her and her nose encountered his chest. She took a deep breath and his intoxicating scent hit her with force. His scent was clean and earthly and brought unsettling feelings to unfold in her stomach. Then as quick as it had come, he moved back pulling a huge blanket from behind her.
He unfolded the blanket and tossed half of it onto her legs and then turned around to douse the lamp. Immediately the tent was shrouded in darkness. Summer should have been afraid, but instead all she could feel was her breath hitch up. She felt him move around and settle down next to her. The tent was so small that when he lied down, his side pressed against hers.
Elan adjusted the blanket so that it covered his lower half choosing to leave his chest uncovered and then said, “Get warm in the blanket- it shall get cold soon.” The thunder ominously cracked again and she wrapped herself in the blanket allowing her legs to rest against his. She turned on her side facing him while he lied flat on his back, and closed her eyes trying to shut out the world. With another loud crack, suddenly the heavens opened up and it started raining hard. Just as suddenly the temperature seemed to take a sudden dip and she felt a tiny shiver pass over her.
