SUNSHINE My Breast Cancer Survivor and Therapy Cat!

This is the story of my special cat Sunshine who picked me in 1997. With no training she woke me up from nightmares, seizures, monitored and followed me for years long before I even realized I was having seizures. She knew. She had that sense. She has been my trusted companion throughout the past 18 years in my on going recovery from drugs, alcohol, food, nicotine, debting, and other addictions. I swear she has the patience of a saint and the good sense of being what I call my divine nag! Daily she drinks her vegetable juice, and seems always ready to play, but in the past year she developed breast cancer yet she survives after a full radical mastectomy and some rising kidney numbers. She, in her 3 voices inaudible soft, medium and clear - communicates and through her eyes, and in other ways we communicate. I love her totally. For all the service she has given to me through thick and thin when I swear if she were human she would have packed up her bags and left me long ago...but no not her, she has stood by me. I dedicate this to her. You will read  how we met, how she picked me, how I learned her name is Sunshine from a Celestial choir, how she has loved my art and music, and just how special she is to me.

Sunshine - this is for you! I hope all you pet lovers out there feel as I do, to me pets are God on four legs or two wings - total love. What a lesson she has taught me and still does!
