Jeremy escaped from his broken home, from a monster that abused him daily, seeking refuge in the underground network of Under Cardinal. There he lived alone, his only friends the rats that followed him around, obeying his every command. Then, one hot summer evening, he happened upon a beautiful and mysterious woman, and an unlikely friendship bloomed.  In search of answers, the two venture deeper Under Cardinal, where even the darkest legends are true...

S.T.R.I.K.E. Order Origins is a series of short stories involving major characters that will be appearing in the novel series in the same world.  The world of S.T.R.I.K.E. Order is a vast, complex one, filled with magic, mystery and monsters. The purpose of the Origins stories is to introduce characters, give them voices, history, a story that might otherwise not be told through the novels. In time, another segment of related short stories will be introduced: Cardinal City Chronicles.
