Larissa has never had a cell phone, almost unheard of in this day and age, but when she misses connecting with the people in her life, she takes some of the money she has made selling hotdogs, her “weiner money”, she gets a new smartphone to keep her company. She doesn’t know what to pick, and Kyle, the cute salesman, helps her pick out the perfect device to suit her needs. He sets her up with some apps and his phone number. He also drops some major hints about what she can do to help her overcome her loneliness while she adjusts to the big city — and discovers an app that helps her connect with people on a whole new level, especially when she learns how to work the camera on the phone. She works out that connection with Kyle and finds a way to boost her sales as she works with her wieners.
