Like the previously published Nuggets of Romance this is the first time these F. W. Boreham writings have been offered in a book. When I read these biographical sketches I am reminded that all of life is meaningful. Boreham writes about a variety of people. Though he briefly mentions inconsistencies and failures, he honors their accomplishments. He draws attention to what is praiseworthy. Readers can learn from their experience. It’s not just what we think of as spiritual that can instruct. God is interested and at work even in the mundane. Oswald Chambers said, “A lily, or a tree, or a servant of God, may convey God’s message to me.” The essays in this book can be as God’s servants, conveying something of His nature and love. Michael Dalton
