Julie Aim knows five things: life is never fair, rules are for people not clever enough to circumvent them, she’s awesome at fighting shades, nothing lasts forever, and healing sucks.

Reeling from loss, Julie is interrupted from her training once again when a shade starts taking over people and forcing them into sleepwalking.
