In this 157th story in the Baba Indaba’s Children's Stories series, Baba Indaba narrates the perennial fairy tale about The Sleeping Beauty in the Woods also known by it’s shorter bane Sleeping Beauty. After a long, long wait the Queen falls pregnant and gives birth to a beautiful daughter. All but one, the wicked witch, is invited to the christening. She arrives unannounced and places a curse on Beauty. In time the curse comes to fruition and Beauty falls into a deep, deep sleep. Unable to find a cure, Beauty is placed in a crystal bower in the woods, hence our story’s name....……. Download and read this story to find out how the curse was broken.
