The “words of wisdom” within this document were written by my mother at various times in her life. She spent years studying the Bible—the Holy Word of God—and memorizing scripture to help her through rough patches in daily living and then praising in times of joy. I always thought of my mother as the closest thing to an angel I would ever see. Her heart knew no boundaries. She had the gift of mercy and charity, always finding new ways to contribute to her family, church family and friends.
When I was a child she served as the children’s choir director for many years and even wrote a children’s musical for the church! She served on several committees and offered time away from church once a month to pray with a “prayer partner” during church services. In her later years, she wrote Children’s Short Stories she desperately wanted to have published in an assortment of magazines. Regarding publication, this included a prayer book for teens. She never reached her dream of publication, though. Through avenues like Smashwords and certain POD locations, she will finally realize that dream, through me.
This series is only one of many my mother wrote before her passing. Her writing meant a great deal to her, but more importantly was the desire to share her love of Christ and his free gift of life to all who believe…
