Shifters

Until Cassie moved to Sylvia, Alaska with her family she had a semi normal life. She grew up being told she was just a normal girl but always felt there was something different about herself. When she stepped into the world of her heritage in Sylvia, everything changed and she figured out why there had always been a nagging feeling that something about her was unusual. Her mother kept a dark secret from the whole family. Cassie and her sister have inherited a genetic anomaly that allows her to shift into a werewolf at will and Sylvia is full of other Shifters just like her.

After finding this out Cassie is trained to fight bloodthirsty Primal werewolves, those born by bite rather than blood, that are out to slaughter every last Shifter. She unexpectedly falls in love with another Shifter Ayden, the man who has helped to train her. With his support she will have to find a way to avert the Primals plans before they kill off the Shifters and expose themselves to the world in an effort to gain more power in their pack.
