Dr. Donna Nicholson retired from her last superintendent’s position in 2009 and now provides consulting services to clients across the United States. Donna has held positions as a superintendent of school districts in Colorado and Alabama, and a charter school system with campuses in many of the major cities in Texas. Donna was the recipient of the 1992 Texas Key Communicator Award. Governor Ann Richards nominated her for this prestigious honor due to her work in creating business education coalitions across the state and helping raise Texas graduation standards through a nationally recognized scholars program.
Gary Nicholson is a writer and producer based in Los Angeles. He began his professional career with Stuart Benjamin at Baldwin Entertainment Group, where he worked on such projects as the feature film Death Sentence and the Broadway musical "Unchain My Heart", about Ray Charles. Next, Gary worked with Stuart Benjamin and Academy Award winning director Taylor Hackford on the play, "Louis and Keely Live at the Sahara". The play went on to win several awards including the highly coveted Ovation Award for Best Musical and Musical of the Year by LA Weekly.
Gary recently produced a documentary film about the typewriter and it's continued use in the digital age. The film is currently screening all over the world to great reviews from critics and audiences alike. Additionally, the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Margaret Herrick Library requested and recently added the transcript of the entire film to their permanent Core Collection.
Gary has produced music videos for the Dallas based rap group Play-N-Skillz featuring Warren G and Snoop Dogg, and Tasha Taylor, daughter of soul legend Johnnie Taylor.
