This story is a novel based on the alternate history of what really happened back in Elizabethan times in regards to the true identity of 'Shake-speare'. It is a story that defies category in the sense that it goes back and forth in time from the past to the present day. Characters from the past and present seem to interchange their realities in an amusing rewrite of history, using the many facts dug up by scholars that have come to light in the last century. The outcome is a very different story than the traditional fable of the mysterious Will Shaxpere from village Stratford, and that we may well have been duped by a fix at the highest level of Tudor, and subsequently Stuart power. To this day, the controversy rages, and as time goes by the truth has a funny way of turning our understanding of history on its ear.
