Shadows of the Mountain

Josephine Warner is a successful lawyer who has just been made a full partner in Conway, Patterson & Warner. She has had to re-locate to California to pursue her career and has found that she feels right at home residing close to the ocean. Her world is turned upside down when an old friend calls from Colorado Spring. She has asked Jo to fly out to defend her brother, who has been charged with the murder of Mary Fleming. Although Jo is confident that Ian is innocent, the circumstantial evidence against him is overwhelming. Her life becomes even more complicated when an old flame show up in town, making it clear he wants Jo back. As the case progresses, Jo finds it hard to resist Matt, her old boyfriend. At the same time, she becomes more involved with her client's case than she ever anticipated.
