If you have ever been a young twenty-three year woman than you know that your hormones can get the best of you especially if you don't have a boyfriend. You begin to think there is something wrong with you, you begin to think you're not pretty like the other girls you see and you begin to compare yourself to other girls and with depression and comparison mixed together it can become a dangerous combination. You start to notice that you aren't really happy with your life as you see other couples walking in the park holding hands laughing and hugging and kissing as you sit all alone on the sidelines. You feel like you're on the outside of a room looking in at all the happy people and even though you are physically there you feel as if you're not. People will tell you that you're beautiful and have a great smile but with a lot of girls including me that smile hid all my loneliness and pain built up inside me. It wasn't until I met Jimmy when all that changed he lifted me up and changed my world around and then once again I was crushed by the man I loved. Why can't a girl get a break in life, why do boys use us and then lose us. .
