Too often than not, married couples have been embroiled in battles due to lack of sexual satisfaction. It is also important to note that chaos in marriage that develops and eventually leading to its break-up, often begin at the bedroom. Sex is so important to a man and also very meaningful to a woman that both of them opt to live their parents to start life together and enjoy each other’s company and satisfy each other emotionally. It can rightly be said that besides starting a family, the core obligation of marriage is sex. Sex is an elementary and fundamental necessity that even it has been categorized as a physiological need in the Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Love, sex, kissing, caressing, romance, affection, understanding and so forth are indispensable in marriage. Failure of either a man or woman to meet these obligations may make one to be labeled unfaithful, a word that could be fatal to a marriage relationship. It is therefore imperative that every fibre of being involved in marriage be committed to make it a success, otherwise it may fall with a resounding thunder.
Sex is divinely made for both partners to enjoy and it is honorable, Sex begets sex- it is a collective desire and responsibility of both partners, I mean man and woman. Sex causes love to grow and bond the partners together. Sex is key to happy married life and it is pleasurable.
Though, partners could have different level of sexual desire (libido) but ability to give sex a first priority in your relationship is not negotiable and could bond the marriage relationship. Research shows that libido in men is most times higher than that of women but proper understanding could better the relationship.
Many marriages or relationships are facing crisis not because they are not compatible neither because they don’t love each other but because one of the ingredient of relationship that brings closeness and intimacy is lacking in the relationship. Lack of sex is one of the major problems we hear about in marriages today and it takes longer time before it can be disclosed because most partners feel shy to discuss their sexual life. And this could lead to infidelity, masturbation and lack of trust. That is why this book is very important for everyone in relationship.
