A step behind her makes her turn around – blue eyes. Blue - what a suitable name, Janice crosses her arms over her chest. “What do you want?” She asks with a hard tone.
Blue nods at the man who turns around and walks away. “We need to talk.” His voice sounds strained.
Janice shrugs. “There is nothing to talk about.” She turns to the door, but he places a hand on it, keeping it closed.
“You knew, didn’t you? You knew how I would react to your presence. So why did you do it, if you don’t want anything to do with me?”
Janice slowly turns around to look at him. “Yes I knew. I have known for over ten months.” She can feel her wolf under the surface, as her eyesight turns yellow. And fights to keep her under control.
“Why didn’t you say something?” He raises a hand to touch her, but she pushes it away.
“Ten months ago I accidentally ended up here one evening. When I stepped inside the club, I accidentally touched a male and I immediately felt it. My wolf felt it as well and I knew… So I kept my eyes on him during the whole evening. However, all he had eyes for was some blond female with a way too short skirt. So why should I bother to act when he so easily brushed the moment off his shoulder?” She shakes her head. “Unfortunately my friends seem to like this hell hole, so even though they know very well that I don’t like it here, they manage to drag me with them every now and then. And each time I have been watching my so-called ‘mate’ hunt down and leave with a blond female each time. I may not be a princess, but I sure as hell is worth something a lot better than you, Prince Charming!” With that, she throws the car door open and jumps inside. Not much later she drives off into the distance, leaving a stunned Blue behind her.
