Season's First Shower

‘Season’s First Shower’ is an anthology of fifteen insightful poems and songs written by eleven year old Bohnita Roychoudhury.

The poetry dwells on Life with all its philosophical intricacies, spirituality, nature and human emotions. They have a lyrical quality while being inspirational and would appeal to all age groups. Most of the poems and songs deal with the questions and complexities facing a child on the throes of growing up and her own means of coming to terms with these; about finding answers to disturbing yet factual revelations and apparent incredulities surrounding a newly discovered world.

Believing in Life, in age-old ‘words of wisdom’ and working her own way out of the complicated maze of scepticism, pain and disillusionment is the essence of the self-discovery which gets reflected in 'Season’s First Shower'.
