Since this will be my first attempt at an endeavor such as this my set goal will be to aim for the stars, in my mind I can imagine a world where it is possible that a single person, let us take yourself for an example, now you have just downloaded these poems and then decide tonight to surprise your love with a nice card along with a hand-written poem inside, and as they read the card and look into your eyes suddenly there becomes a stirring of emotion somewhere deep down inside, it is a feeling that is familiar and they have felt it many times before, but for some reason this time it is different, a little more intense and there is a stronger feeling of passion and desire, and in trying to realize why this time is different than many times before they hears those words in your voice that are written in a card. And that is what I believe is held within the words arranged so cleverly and used so delicately and configured so precisely as to create a poem and why should it stop with just our companions? There are many people in our lives that we feel we can’t do without why not express to them your feelings and how they have helped you out through many times be they good or bad, and this expression of love and friendship will not only spread from you but would also make all around you want to also spread these feelings, and slowly it will keep spreading until the entire town is spreading these feelings to the entire county, and even further until states are spreading love across the entire country and even further as the entire world is covered with this amazing force field of love, consisting of kindness, compassion, love for our fellow man, and would be so strong that it would deflect asteroids, after all I did say I wanted to reach for the stars, and if in the end all that came of me writing these poems is only you, if just one single human being was able to express their love to the ones they love by simply, Saying more than I love you, then my friend I thank you for allowing the clouds to break my fall from the stars. In closing this introduction, I want to say that no matter what we will see in the future at some point we have seen it happen in the past, many things and many people will come and go in and out of our lives, but two things I will always know to be true is, only light will brighten the dark, and only love can defeat hate. Thank you so much and never stop spreading love. S.W.A.K. XOXO.
