I walked over to the closet and gazed through the collection of shirts and pants that Joan had. She would add in her own thoughts on a particular piece of clothing sometimes, but for the most part, she let me sort through them on my own. "Maybe just lingerie?" she suggested, when I got to the end of the closet.
I quietly nodded, my face red with shame.

I smiled a bit. That made me feel a bit better.
I moved over to the dresser and opened the middle drawer. Thin, lacy pieces of lingerie were stacked neatly in the drawer. I shyly sorted through them, my fingers almost trembling.
At the very bottom, I found one I liked. It was a lacy white teddy and it was very sheer. It would look incredibly sexy on her in the photos. But I'd be able to see everything, and I mean everything! I started to put it back.
"Oooh, I like that one," she said from the other side of the room. "That would look really sexy, don't you think?"
