A long time ago the Caliph of Baghdad who was very mighty and powerful that time, gathered his army and attacked and plundered Armenian land. He married and took King Gagik's beautiful daughter to Baghdad. But before the princess left her father's land, she drank water from a life-giving (immortal) spring and became pregnant.
Then she had twin boys who became mighty and bore supernatural power. They escaped from the Caliph and began building their own kingdom.
