This book of four short stories relates the adventures of the six-year old Sabrina as she inquires, perseveres and learns to adapt to four typical childhood situations. The book was designed so it could be read to and by young readers. There are no pictures so young imaginations can soar.
In the first story, Wild for Horses, Sabrina learns perseverance as she wants desperately to learn to canter. In the Pumpkin Plants, she learns to plant a garden and that pumpkins have a mind of their own. The Project again forces her to persevere and get over disappointments as she creates a dinosaur diorama for a school project. The last story, The Know-it-All-Kids, deals with bullying at a summer day camp.
