Rumor Has It

Quinn was beside himself. Every time he stepped out of his front door he heard the whispers. And they were about his wife. Doctor Tatum Buchanan the woman that he loved to bits. It felt like a little wound that was festering. And the rumor had spread like wildfire throughout the community. In a small community a rumor could make or break you. Quinn decided to take matters in to his own hands. He would stop the rumors for once and for all. After all, if he didn’t have a wife, there would no longer be a rumor. But Quinn was wrong. The rumor was just that. A rumor. But he realized too late that he had made a huge mistake. He had to rectify matters. But could he? Tatum was literally driven out of town. After a few months she headed back to town. She had always been goal driven and she would achieve her goal. She didn’t know whether the townsfolk would accept her back in to the community. But she didn’t care. She was going to live her life.
