This book seeks to explore the pneumatological signifi cance of the use of the Hebrew term, (ruah spirit) in the book of Psalms. It will compare and contrast the use of as it relates to a basic understanding of (ruah qodeshkha literally, your spirit of holiness) in Psalm 33:6; 51:10 13; 104:30; 139:7 12; and 143:10. David in his personal communion with God was the fi rst to reveal the activity of the Holy Spirit as indwelling and guiding the believer even with a possible expansion of the idea of regeneration in the Old Testament.
