Deep in debt, Jessica is forced to sell the family home. She wonders if God really cares that she is in such circumstances. He took her parents, her family, and now He seemed to be taking her last physical anchor. She has already decided to despise the stranger who will shortly walk the floors of her former home.

Patrick has found the most perfect property and can't wait until he meets the perfect woman to join him. He can't believe anyone would sell a beautiful place in the mountains. The woman must be heartless, yet he can't help but see something in her. Something that intrigues him.

Wanting to find a wife Patrick is cautious. He has been hurt before, so any woman he marries must be a Christian. They have to believe in God and uphold those values.
