“Why not pour yourself a cup of coffee—or tea, if you prefer—then, with this book in hand, pull up a chair to enjoy the wit and wisdom of one who has been a pastor, missionary, teacher, translator, mentor and trusted friend. You’ll be glad you did!” —Robin Brignall, Pastor

“Dale’s descriptions always leave a picture in my mind. I gained such an appreciation for this couple after reading Out of the Vortex.” —George Fehr

“A storyteller I totally enjoy—warm and fuzzy.” —Gwen Hills

“Vivid, lively…brings the reader to experience the story.” —Renata Deilets

Dale’s pilgrimage under God has taken him from a farm in Delacour, Alberta, to Northern Cree country, on a launch on the Amazon, into the hinterland to live among the Kayapo Indians of Brazil, in church work, seminary and Bible school. He was in Brazil for a total of seventeen years. He met and married Mary Scott from Scotland in the same mission, Crossworld. This resulted in some furlough time in Scotland as well. When he and Mary came home with their three children they spent time in pastorates and they are now retired.
