Poetry is Art… these three words, in this sequence are
certainly the most exhilarating, glorious and at some
thought; most ambiguous. They appear to explain it all,
yet at the same time they don't even begin to cover all
things we might feel or think when they are said. Poetry is
the art of reminding the heart how to feel again, the mind
how to think again and the lungs how to breathe again
with a revived sense of hope.

All the poems in this book aim to capture something that
is beyond the grasp of words yet within the palms of the
human soul. Poetry in all its nature and intent is good, it
encapsulates and amplifies the essence of the human
spirit. Each poem may have a form, shape, meaning and
purpose of its own, yet all poems seek to do, is to elicit
something in each of us –
that is better experienced than explained.

Every poem relates and resonates with each reader in its
own unique way, different from another reader. Poems
are a mirror to which the reader's soul seeks to reveal to
itself, graciously regale its custodian with truths that
reverberate deeply in the chambers of their heart.

In subtle ways, poetry reminds us to never hold on to the
past, for it holds us back, but to look forward to the
future, for that forges us ahead.
