Raw Youth

"Raw Youth" is about the aftermath of 9/11 in America as seen through the eyes of a paranoid schizophrenic. After the 9/11 attacks the unnamed protagonist becomes obsessed with the tragedy, creating in his own mind a massively complex and convoluted cosmology of conspiracies ultimately leading back to the figure of his own supposedly dead father. His quest to find the center of his delusions - and find his absent father - takes him across the country and into the heart of his own worst impulses, in the process exposing some of the throbbing tender wounds that still linger across the United States of America.
