Luke leaned back in his chair admiring the beautiful female across the room. She was gorgeous, but very young. Who would have thought a few weeks later, she would end up working as his secretary? He could not be near her every day and work, so he fired her. Now he could have her if he could convince her over-protective brother it was a great idea. All he had to do was shed, his other girlfriends first. It was not long before he realized his friend Tim was trying to use her for information on a new government contract as he had on his last secretary.
Luke was not ready to give her up, and it would become his job to keep her safe. He convinced Dave, his assistant to invite his sister who worked for the feds to infiltrate his organization and set up a sting operation to catch Tim in the act. Soon after he discovered Natalie could be as jealous of him, as he was of her. Natalie’s brother had become a pathologist, and he moved to Michigan so when she had enough of Luke, she joined him leaving Luke behind. He left her alone for the next three weeks until the feds had Tim in jail. He brought Natalie home again but kept her confined until the trial, which wasn’t not easy for her to handle Tim broke out of jail and came looking for her and destroyed their apartment. Luke was thankful he made her come to work with him locking her in an office alone. If she had been home, Tim would have taken her. What would it take to keep her for himself? A marriage license, children, a home and a ring on her finger? All things he would have to think about when she was not in his arms. It was only time his brain would work.
