Portraits of African American Leaders Volume I: Student Edition

In this book, students will learn about the lives of famous African American inventors and inventions and more importantly, about how they achieved their goals and how their contributions helped change the world. Students will be able to take the knowledge they will gain from this book and not only apply it to history but to several other content areas as well, such as Social Studies, Language Arts and Science. It teaches them how to place these events in history.
