Poksy's Party

Poksy wanted to have a party, lots of fun with his friends and family. When he asked his mom, she told him that his birthday was not too far away and then he could enjoy his party with them. Poksy asked his mom to check the months with him as to how long it would be before his birthday party. She did, and Poksy found himself very disappointed that he had to wait a few months for a party. Poksy’s big question was: Why should I have to wait so long for a party? Why can’t I just have a party in order to have fun with my friends? Why do I have to wait for a birthday in order to have fun? He wanted to have fun party now, not months away. His mother understood how he felt and decided to have a party for Poksy without a birthday.
