Travis fears being poisoned again by the government and other agencies that are trying to prevent him of spreading the message that there is a cure for autism. Travis goes into hiding to avoid being poisoned and avoids taking showers, eating food, washing his hands, and many other daily activities. He fears that the government is watching his every move as he prepares to tell all about the cure for autism. Travis feels he must do whatever he can to spread word about the cure and when he runs into resistance from autism non-profits and other agencies he wonders why no one wants to cure autism. Overcome with paranoia Travis has decided to go into hiding and not come out of his house until someone can listen to him about having the cure for autism. He knows very well from his own experience that the cure for autism is in social skills coaching and learning how to relate to others. Travis has fought hard over the years with his insurance to try and get approved for social skills coaching but the insurance companies do not want to pay for social skills training. Struggling to be cured of his autism Travis develops a mental illness because he was not able to get the cure or social skills coaching for autism. Travis makes it a mission of his to find someone who will believe him that social skills coaching is the cure for autism.
