About the Poet :
Poet is from Mauritius – ShyamaRamsamy. She was awarded the Commonwealth Scholarship by the ICCR to enroll for her M.A. degree in the Department of Studies in English at the University of Mysore, India. As she pursued her Ph.D in English under the Junior Research Fellowship for foreign national awarded by the UGC, New Delhi – she decided to publish a collection of her poems with Poet’s Choice.
This book marked our journey towards making Poet’s Choice a platform to promote a unity whilst it is creating a community space for poets associated with the series. We want that our books be known – not by the name i.e. Poet’s Choice but instead the names of our poets
