Edythe Baudin’s third book takes on the issues of homophobia and bisexuality in an explicit tale of lesbian, gay, and hetero sex. The various permutations of sex between two couples−four individuals−are explored, resulting in a fast-paced romp through various sexual escapades.

Seeking to add spice to their marriage, Inga and Skip scope out a local country club affair for a similarly inclined couple, finding Ginger and Rusty−a pair of redheads with breathtaking sexual appetites and experiences to match. The two couples hit if off and soon Skip is sponsoring Rusty for membership in the club’s exclusive athletic facility.

The two men engage in the usual masculine strutting, even doing a little macho minuet in the shower after a competitive hardball match. Rusty’s blatant physical displays make Skip uneasy; but not to the point he doesn’t join the redheaded man and the two women in a naked, hot tub frolic.

Skip vacillates between wanting a sexual adventure and fear of doing something gay. The antics in the hot tub as well as afterwards at the redheads’ home make it clear to the others that Rusty needs to take dramatic action to bring Skip along. A game of strip pool between the two men will either end the nascent relationship or resolve Skip’s quandary.
