Josette B. Bolden, who compiled these poems, was the wife of the late William Bolden Jr. She is the co founder of the music production company, Trunktight, which was founded in 1995 by her and William, and is also the founder and president of Fam First Outreach and Jos Cakes 2 catering. She is also on the ministry board of the Rock Church of Wilmington and the leadership ministry of St. Luke Evangelical School of Biblical Studies. She currently lives in Chester County, Pennsylvania, with her two children. William Bolden Jr., known to everyone as Peteyluv, was a musician, poet, producer, and songwriter. He has written and produced music for various artists as well as his own. He was the founder and producer of his music company, Trunktight Production. Outside his passion for music, he had a love for writing. Before William passed away, he was in the process of working on this book and other projects. He was not able to complete the publishing of his work due to an illness he suffered called sarcoidosis. He lived with his family in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He left behind his production company to be managed by his children, Aisha and Aaron Bolden.
