Parker's Tale (The story of Jake and Agnes)

Set in the old west, Jake Neil on his way to buy some stock for his ranch encounters an odd animal. After being robbed and left for dead in the desert he barely manages to make it on foot to a watering hole. As he gets his first drink he encounters a rare animal for the area, a camel named Agnes. The rest of the story tells how Jake becomes the owner of the beast and how she impacts his family. It's a fun read with some humor and warm and fuzzy moments. Hope you enjoy it.
